Just for fun, let's say you are given the option to choose between having free food for the rest of your life or free Internet, what would you pick?
Personally i would choose free Internet.
This is very relative, because both are necessary, but depending on the context, one is more necessary than the other. If it's a matter of life or death, clearly free food is better; nobody can live without eating. On the other hand, even though the internet is vital nowadays, it's definitely possible to live without it. It would be very boring, but it's possible.
Many people would argue that food is necessary and this is quite understandable thing. Many people have a really harder time affording food. However, internet is also a necessity. Internet is quite important to me because I earn money using the internet. If I can't gain access to the internet, I won't be able to purchase food in the first place.
I would have to choose free food. Food at the moment with the cost of living, is crazy high in price, whereas even though the internet has gone up in price, it is still affordable.
Free food would make things so much easier, I feel.

That's a very critical point you have raised. Internet is still quite cheap. The prices of grocery items have skyrocketed and this takes away a large chunk of your income away. The prices of items such as cooking oil, rice, lentils, vegetables, fruits, etc have surged and this is making life a living hell. Just imagine getting all these items for free! How cool would that be!
I would go for quality food instead. The cost of getting food items is on the high side right now and I begin to wonder what I will be saving if I have the opportunity of enjoying free food for a period.
Yes, this is what I also said as well and I agree with you. However, the problem here is the fact that food is much more expensive than internet. Internet is far much cheaper in my country and also in various other countries as well. On the other hand, prices of grocery items are quite expensive. This is why so many would prefer free food.

Data is very important but hunger is wicked too. There was a time I had 5gb and I had no money for food. It was pure suffering because it's difficult to scroll on an empty stomach.
