General Volunteering

Who here volunteers or has volunteered for a local charity? What made you do it? I have for the scouts and I like to give back to the community

I volunteer to do Search and Rescue in the forest I hike in. I also do trash cleanup a lot. I've been a volunteer firefighter and emergency management official in the past.
