Books & Reading Do you re-read books?

For some people, books are like movies. They don't go back to it after they have completed it.

Do you read a particular book over and over again? What is the highest number of times you have re-read a particular book?

I plan on re-reading the Harry Potter series but I'm waiting until I collect all the illustrated editions. They've made books one through five into illustrated books.......I'm just waiting for them to do books six and seven.

I do not generally re-read books. However, I usually re-read certain parts of books that I like. This depends on my level of interest. For example, if I am reading a book about trading, then I may re-read it to understand technical parts of online trading.

There are a lot of books to read, I find it hard to read a book again after I have read it once. But I keep them in my library in case someone else needs to enjoy them.

What genre of books do you like to read? I really like to read books about health, science, fiction, and some other stuff. Havi g said that, it is good to see that you keep books in the library. This helps others as well in many ways in case if they want to read a specific book.

Once I found a book to be interesting, I won't have any problem with reading it for the second or even third time. The main goal is to keep myself busy while enjoying some great time from reading the book. That is all.

Yes, I tend to re-read books if I find them really interesting and insightful.

Not as often as I usrd to. Now if I see a movie that I really enjoyed then I will look for the book because books are usually better!

Depends on the book. I've read the first book A Child Called "IT". My husband got me the series. I'm on the second book right now.

Not really.

I'm not averse to the concept, but in practice, I don't read enough for "re-reading a book" to ever win out over "reading a new book".
