Do any of you party, drink alcohol, and get drunk on New Year's Eve past midnight?
I used to when I was much younger. Now, I'm in bed way before midnight. I also quit drinking a few years ago.
Some people hate it altogether -- are you one of those people?
I don't mind it and catch myself humming and singing it all the time, even when it's nowhere near Christmas, LOL.
How does Christmas music make you all feel?
Is there a Christmas movie that brings you back to your childhood?
What movie is this? Why does it make you think about when you were a kid?
Do you still watch it today to relive those old memories?
What’s more important: the success of the community, or the happiness of the admin?
As a member of the forum, I'd love to know what you think!
As a forum owner, I also want to know what you think!
If you disappeared tomorrow, would your community survive…
Or would it reveal how dependent it was on you?
Has anything like this ever occurred where it proved this otherwise?
Is “loyalty” from members real, or just temporary convenience until something better arrives?
In your experience, how has loyalty on a forum you run played out?
Did your members stay loyal to you or jump ship when something better came along?
How do you feel about non-artist types who use AI to create all their graphics?
I'll be honest. That's me. I don't feel bad about it, either. I can't afford graphic designers but I can easily afford $20 to have ChatGPT do it for me.
Does that make me a bad guy?
What's easier to run in your opinion and experience?
Blogs or forums.
The benefit of a blog is that you control the content, allowing you to do better SEO and marketing. A forum is generated by user content that you can't control.
What would you rather run and why?
I use AI to design all my images these days.
I pay $25 a month for ChatGPT. I can tell it exactly what I want in an image, and it will spit it out for me. Then I backtrace it to make sure there isn't something like it that can be used against me in terms of DMCA.
I don't feel bad. I know I'm...
Did any of you ever read Goosebumps as a kid?
I remember loving this book series. You can get several stories out of one book. It was a lot of fun to read them.
Are you into the new stuff?
New bands and singers are being introduced into the music scene every day. Countless songs are being released.
Are you watching for them and having a listen at all?
What are some newer ones that you've been enjoying lately?
I've been watching the original B&W Twilight Zone seasons lately.
I watch them on my Prime.
I think they were made way before their time. None of the episodes are cheesy like older TV shows are. Some of them make you think, even.
What do you all think? Do you watch this show at all?
