I have one on my General Forum, but it doesn't take away from the forum at all. People who are active seem to really like it.

Very cold this morning. If it's 20-F out there, I'd be shocked.

PC. I do everything on the PC, so I have no desire to move to another device to play on it.

I'm very careful about anything third-party I add. It needs to have amazing reviews, widespread use, and a history of being great. I won't just use anyone's stuff.

From the start, I lay out what they can expect and what I will do and will not do. If they are satisfied with that, then we create a contract of sorts. I'll then deliver what is promised. If they want something out of the contract and it's easy, I'll do it. If not, I won't.

Be blunt about how you want your team to work and act. Be firm when you need to coach or even remove someone from the team. You can be generous, just don't let them walk all over you.

I use an app on my phone called TickTick, which is a to-do app. It alerts me when I need to complete my tasks. Forums and posting is a part of it. This helps me stay ahead with everything I do.

I just use a premium membership at the moment. In the future, I might consider selling ads directly rather than using a network like AdSense.

At this time, I'm treating premium membership like a donation rather than a product. The price is really low. However, so are the features of the membership.

I'm the only staff member on most of my forums. A few have one additional moderator. It's easy for us to communicate without the need for a virtual environment. However, Zoom meetings would be something I'd consider with a bigger staff team.

I haven't really done it yet. However, I'd be very open to it. I figure we'd just need to figure out a good way to do it.

I'm not using it on any of my forums yet, but I probably should at least just for me. I feel like it might annoy regular members to require it.

As a staff member on other forums, I always looked back seeing a happy forum owner and members after I did a posting spree to kick the forum back into action. As a staff member on a forum that isn't mine, a big goal is always to help keep the forum active and get people talking. It's something...
