Thyroxine as I only have half a thyroid. The whole was supposed to be removed but during the surgery one of my vocal cords was severed so the surgeon halted the operation. The remaining half is more nodule that thyroid, poor thing. 

@Catsmother Thankfully no. I only need to know as much as the client wants to tell me - some go into lots of detail, others prefer to give just the basic information. Their mind knows what the problems is, it's not necessary to relive things that are already familiar just for my benefit. All I...
